when we are born, our mind is empty - just like a blank paper, free from experiences and knowledge. What is going to be "written" on that page depends on the environment we are born into, the events taking place around us and it also depends on ourselves.
Tabula Rasa also means a fresh start from the beginning - a thing that we might need on a smaller or larger scale in our life.

I like how you fleshed out the concept of tabula rasa, but I wish he wasn't wearing a t-shirt.. I understand what you mean by making the model wear white, but for this idea, I think it would have been better to ditch clothing.

I made both versions while shooting, but this looked much better and more elegant to my eye, so I published this one. Btw this photo is used in one philosophy textbook as an illustration to the topic aswell. Thanks for the comment.
